At Orchard, we are focusing on waste reduction and recycling. As a school, we are becoming more aware of how to reduce waste in our school and at home. Kelly, the Environmental Officer for Hackney Council gave an assembly to raise awareness of this. She discussed important topics such as the correct way to use recycling bins, items that can be placed into the waste buckets in the lunch hall and interesting facts about recycling. Everyone loved the informative and interactive presentation!
