In music Year 3 have been learning about ‘The Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint-Saens. This week they learnt about Movement 2: Hens and Cockerels. The children had to compose their own music to represents hens pecking and flapping. It was a great opportunity to experiment with different instrumentation, tempos and dynamics.
