Garden Explorers!

Year 1 classes took part in gardening workshops with our resident gardeners. They focussed on the parts of plants as and introduction to photosynthesis and pollination including the role that roots play. They tasted some roots, stems, fruits, flowers and seeds! They also learnt to identify the names of the fruits and vegetables and finally sowed some sunflower seeds!
