Year 4 had the exciting opportunity to engage in a second gardening workshop, aimed at furthering their skills and knowledge from the previous lesson. The final product to be created as a result of the Year 4 gardening workshops, is a hat which will be made from homegrown flax turned into linen yarn. In this particular workshop, the children enjoyed learning how to break the flax, scutch it, heckle and finally spin the material!
