Back to learning in KS2! Year 4 are exploring the Greek myth of ‘Perseus and the snake-haired monster’ and engaged in a dramatisation of the myth using appropriate intonation and body language to create atmosphere last week. In Year 5, the children are exploring the text ‘Beowulf’ particularly the language, story structure and meaning. The children spent their first session last week reading a range of short tales, identifying features and determining whether these are myths or legends. #learningprogression
