We were found to offer Outstanding provision in every category in 2014.
Orchard have an interim Ofsted visit on Tuesday 6th October 2020.
The purpose is to reassure and inform parents, the government and the public about how schools are managing the return to full education for all pupils. Ofsted are inspecting 1200 schools nationally from a range of prior gradings. No schools are legally exempt from an interim visit, because these are not full inspections.
The lead Her Majesty’s Inspector will write a short letter after the interim visit. The letter will summarise briefly the discussions inspectors had with leaders. This is to provide parents with information about what leaders are doing to help pupils back into full-time education. Letters will not provide any evaluation or graded judgement. Normally outcome letters are shared within 38 days of the inspection.
This builds on our previous success of an outstanding subject inspection in Business and Enterprise in 2012. We are all proud to be a part of the Orchard Primary School learning journey and the continued hard work of our school community in making Orchard Primary School a successful learning place to learn.
